Craftivist Stitching
Sunday, October 12th
Learn the history of craftivism while stitching your own message as a call to action. Stitched work will be wrapped or hung in the community to share. No prior sewing experience needed, all supplies provided.

Reuse-a-Palooza
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19th
Scavengers unite! Get ready for the fall 2025 edition of Reuse-a-Palooza at The Plant.
This semiannual event provides opportunities to repair clothing and household items, safely dispose tricky-to-recycle items, and donate bicycles, clothing, and more, all the while bringing attention to strategies to reduce waste and improve environmental conditions. We’ll be joined by an amazing group of waste-reduction and repurposing enthusiasts focusing on economically, environmentally, and socially responsible approaches to purchasing and consumption.

Chicago Public Library presents SPOOKY TRIVIA NIGHT

Join the Back of the Yards for a Spooky, Scary, Terrifying Trivia Night at the Jungle Taproom. Test your knowledge of horror media of all kinds, Halloween history and traditions, urban legends and more! Bring your favorite trivia team, brainiac besties, or your dream team to find out who knows their stuff on all things terrifying!

Boozy Book Fair

Remember the Scholastic Book Fairs we always looked forward to as kids? Viva Los Libros is bringing the exact same concept to the Jungle Taproom with a variety of bilingual books! Books for all ages in both English and Spanish, thsi is our second installment at the Jungle Taproom, and we are excited to stock up on some good reads as the weather cools down!
